About the Webinar

This free webinar introduces the Automated Brighton Classification (ABC) Tool, designed to support the standardized assessment of adverse events of special interest (AESI) using Brighton Collaboration case definitions. This webinar is the first in a new series of free SPEAC webinars highlighting tools and resources designed to support vaccine safety work.

The ABC Tool guides users through structured questionnaires and automatically determines the appropriate Level of Diagnostic Certainty (LOC), supporting more consistent case classification across clinical and surveillance settings.

The webinar includes an introduction to the tool, a live demonstration, and perspectives from vaccine safety experts on its use across a variety of settings.
