Automated Brighton Classification Tool

Automated Brighton Classification Tool

The Automated Brighton Classification (ABC) Tool supports standardized assessment of adverse events following immunization (AEFI) using Brighton Collaboration case definitions.

Available through the CEPI Safety Intelligence Portal, the tool guides users through structured questionnaires and automatically determines the appropriate Level of Diagnostic Certainty (LOC) based on the information entered. This supports more consistent case classification across clinical, research, and surveillance settings.

Accessing the ABC Tool

The ABC Tool is available through the SPEAC Safety Intelligence Portal. New users must register for portal access before using the tool.
