Several SPEAC experts joined the BeCOME Conference at Les Pensières Center for Global Health in Annecy, France from June 11 – 13, 2023.
The SPEAC team met with CEPI’s Clinical Development Team in London the week of June 12, 2023, to discuss progress and strategies to build safety into every step of CEPI’s approach to vaccine development.

The 4th edition of the DSMB Training Course started in March 2023 with 16 participants from various African countries who will undergo a two-month program designed to support the training of professionals who would have the competence to serve on Data and Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMB).
The Safety Platform for Emergency vACcines (SPEAC) is a project funded by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI). SPEAC is located at Brighton Collaboration, a program of the Task Force for Global Health.
